GEMINI Project (www.dth-gemini.eu<\/a>) meeting in Krakow is organized by the Sano Centre for Computational Medicine (www.sano.science<\/a>) and the Academic Computer Center Cyfronet AGH (www.cyfronet.pl<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plenary sessions will be at the Akademickie Centrum Materia\u0142\u00f3w i Nanotechnologii AGH (ACMiN)(www.acmin.agh.edu.pl<\/a>) and parallel sessions at ACMIN and Cyfronet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday afternoon you are invited to visit ACMIN, Cyfronet and Sano Centre and meet with scientists there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting will start with a plenary session at ACMIN. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACC Cyfronet AGH <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Academic Computer Centre CYFRONET AGH, founded by the National Committee for Scientific Research, serves as the primary institution for managing and expanding the infrastructure of high-performance computers (HPC) and both the urban and academic Metropolitan Area Network (MAN). A key role of Cyfronet is to offer telecommunication and computing services to the entire scientific community in Krakow and the Malopolska region, enhancing their research capabilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an expert center in distributed computing, including cloud and grid technologies, ACK Cyfronet AGH boasts extensive expertise in creating and managing integrated service platforms tailored for the scientific community. Additionally, it leads the PLGrid Consortium, which unites national computational resources for scientific research and offers various specialized IT support services. Cyfronet also administers the Metropolitan Area Network in Krakow and plays a pivotal role in the PIONIER network. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
