Hexad Gamification User Types classification, 3. Selection of preferred design mockups. The study showed that most users, regardless of age and gender, preferred similar game elements, such as gaining new levels and points, therefore, Hexad Gamification User Types classification, which distinguishes 6 types of users, is exceeding for medical applications.<br><br><strong>Paulina Adamczyk presented the results of the study at the 16th International Joint Conference on Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies BIOSTEC 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal, on 16-18 February.&nbsp;<\/strong><br><br>The purpose of BIOSTEC is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in both theoretical advances and applications of information systems, artificial intelligence, signal processing, electronics and other engineering tools in knowledge areas related to biology and medicine.<br><br><strong>The paper entitled &#8220;Designing Personalized Gamification of mHealth Survey Applications&#8221; is published \u201cIn Proceedings of the 16th International Joint Conference on Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies \u2013 HEALTHINF\u201d.<\/strong><br><br>Link to the paper: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scitepress.org\/PublicationsDetail.aspx?ID=86vOosGEiU4=&amp;t=1\">https:\/\/www.scitepress.org\/PublicationsDetail.aspx?ID=86vOosGEiU4=&amp;t=1<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":"Gamification of medical applications seems to be inevitable to keep users involved in the process of self-reporting.
