Consequently, it is extremely important for scientists to educate the public and establish trust in new technologies and science. Dr. Jose Sousa, the leader of the Personal Health Data Science team of Sano in his speech at the Summit, tried to reduce uncertainty about the application of AI in healthcare. First of all, Dr. Sousa emphasized, that usage of AI in medicine is already very strictly regulated. He explained the inevitability of AI in medicine by addressing two problems that cannot be solved without the help of AI, it is aging population and the shortage of resources.
