{"id":14454,"date":"2023-12-08T14:05:17","date_gmt":"2023-12-08T13:05:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sano.science\/?p=14454"},"modified":"2023-12-08T14:05:18","modified_gmt":"2023-12-08T13:05:18","slug":"it-is-possible-to-make-your-hospital-stay-a-better-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sano.science\/it-is-possible-to-make-your-hospital-stay-a-better-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"It is possible to \u201cMake your hospital stay a better experience\u201d!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">This was a concern for <strong>Monika Pytlarz<\/strong>, a PhD student from Sano, and her sister <strong>Karolina Pytlarz<\/strong>, who is making her master&#8217;s in nursing, when they were taking part in <strong>the<\/strong> <strong>Cracow EIT Health i-Days<\/strong> hackathon <strong>\u201cMake your hospital stay a better experience\u201d.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The innovative sisters introduced the concept of <strong>MedJarvis, a voice chatbot that accompanies the patient and addresses the problem of incomprehensibly provided information or insufficient patient education about their condition and treatment<\/strong>. Among other functions,<strong> <\/strong>MedJarvis is meant to send notifications about medications and rehabilitation to patients and encourage exercise in an attempt to combat the growing problem of bedridden patients!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The team won the first prize for this brilliant idea at the Krak\u00f3w event and, as a result, presented their idea at<strong> <\/strong>the Winner&#8217;s Event in Barcelona.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">In Barcelona, Monika and Karolina had a great opportunity to dive into the world of the entrepreneurial mindset and AI solutions in healthcare and present their idea to experts in innovative health solutions.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
