Thus, it attracted the European High-Performance Computing (HPC) community, scientists, students, technology providers, as well as representatives of SMEs, public organizations, and policymakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">During the event, attention was paid to exploring technological advancements and shaping the future of European high-performance computing. Plenary sessions focused on topics related to AI factories (in the context of Europe&#8217;s competitiveness in the global technology race), chips, skills, and scientific and social achievements enabled by supercomputers. Discussions also addressed current challenges and accomplishments related to HPC, with an emphasis on environmental issues associated with supercomputer operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\" id=\"h-demo-lab-and-quantum-insights\">Demo Lab and Quantum Insights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Event attendees could visit the Demo Lab exhibition area, where functioning EuroHPC supercomputers were explored, and Quantum Insights, featuring quantum computers. There were also career fairs, which provided an opportunity to explore career paths in this field and to network with the EuroHPC community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\" id=\"h-why-is-the-eurohpc-summit-important\">Why is the EuroHPC Summit important?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The conference is organized within the framework of EuroHPC JU \u2013 a joint initiative of EU countries and private partners aimed at developing the supercomputer ecosystem in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">We also benefit from this development every day at Sano, advancing computational medicine and basing our work on supercomputers. For this reason, among the summit&#8217;s attendees were: Karolina Tla\u0142ka, Dominika Ciupek, Piotr Kica, Karol Zaj\u0105c, and Maciej Malawski (Director of Sano).
