The LifeScience4EU<\/a> conference, held on May 15\u201316, 2025, brought together policymakers, researchers, industry leaders, and investors to explore how Europe can strengthen its position in life sciences through technology, innovation, and regulatory reform. The event was organized as part of the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union and addressed the critical question:

One of the conference\u2019s important panels was dedicated to KPIs in MedTech and Digital Health innovation. Titled \u201cKPIs for success: what metrics define progress in health innovation?\u201d, this session brought together experts voices to examine how to evaluate and guide digital transformation in healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maciej Malawski<\/a>, Director of the Sano Centre for Computational Medicine, participated as a panelist in this discussion. Drawing on his experience in computational medicine, he shared strategies to overcome systemic and regulatory challenges that often delay the adoption of digital health solutions. He emphasized the importance of measurable, evidence-based indicators, regulatory alignment, and fostering ecosystems that enable long-term success in digital healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
