The event was part of our ongoing mission to nurture a passion for learning and inspire young minds to explore the world of computational medicine and advanced technologies.<br>The workshop, titled \u201c<strong>How to Perform a Virtual Surgical Procedure?<\/strong>\u201d, was led by <a href=\"https:\/\/sano.science\/people\/sabina-martyniak\/\">Sabina Martyniak<\/a>, a biomedical engineer at Sano specializing in medical informatics and passionate about showing how digital tools are transforming modern healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" participants discovered how computer simulations help surgeons practice and refine their skills without performing operations on real patients. Using Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies, they had the chance to step into a surgeon\u2019s role and even perform a virtual laparoscopic procedure on professional medical equipment.<br>For over two decades, VR and AR technologies have been revolutionizing medicine \u2014 making surgeries faster, safer, and less invasive.
