The first event in the \u201cCareer in Life Science\u201d series, organized by Klaster LifeScience Krak\u00f3w, Krak\u00f3w City Hall, and EIT Health, provided exactly that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Held at the Cluster of Socio-Economic Innovations in Krak\u00f3w, the meeting drew nearly 60 students and pupils eager to explore biotechnology, medicine, and cutting-edge technologies. Participants discovered how science, technology, and biotech intertwine to advance modern medicine, learning how research ideas turn into real therapies and solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\" id=\"h-a-young-researcher-s-view-from-sano\">A Young Researcher\u2019s View from Sano<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Sabina Martyniak, a PhD student in Medical Imaging and Robotics at Sano \u2013 Centre for Computational Medicine, shared her perspective as an emerging researcher and specialist. She illustrated how a life science career blends engineering, data, and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote eplus-wrapper is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">\u201cRepresenting Sano, I explained how we integrate biomedical engineering, data analysis, and AI in medical projects. I also highlighted why data and safe testing environments are crucial for training systems and robots,\u201d says Sabina.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">During the discussion, participants explored how advances in artificial intelligence and robotics are transforming diagnostics and disease treatment, along with the future directions of these technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\" id=\"h-science-as-a-catalyst-for-action\">Science as a Catalyst for Action<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Kazimierz Murzyn, Director of Klaster LifeScience Krak\u00f3w, opened the event by encouraging participants to view innovation as the art of overcoming barriers and shifting perspectives. Monika Kozdro\u0144-Sikorska and Dorota Szczepaniak-Krupowska, PhD from ExecMind Life Science Executive Search then presented examples of how modern therapies are developed and what daily work in the biotech industry entails. Finally, Dr hab.
