and Computational Genomics Workshop (EEBG), participants had the chance to see how the future of data\u2011driven biology is being built in Krak\u00f3w \u2013 directly from the perspective of Sano and Gaia AI Factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sano.science\/people\/maciej-malawski\/\" data-type=\"people\" data-id=\"531\">Maciej Malawski<\/a> from Sano delivered a lecture titled \u201cAI Factories: Connecting Cloud and HPC for Bioinformatics and Genomics\u201d, showing how new national\u2011scale infrastructures like Gaia AI Factory in Krak\u00f3w link supercomputers with cloud\u2011native tools familiar to AI and bioinformatics teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">In his talk, he explained why this hybrid approach matters: bioinformatics and genomics increasingly rely on workflows that must be both extremely powerful and easy to use, so researchers can analyse large cohorts, multi\u2011omics datasets and complex models without worrying about the technical divide between traditional HPC centres and modern cloud platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\"
