I will share knowledge and experience in designing and developing human brain atlases, including a 3D interactive atlas of the normal brain, 3D brain atlas of neurologic disorders, probabilistic functional atlas, and probabilistic stroke atlas. I will feature atlas applications in education, research, and clinics focusing on neurosurgery, neuroradiology, and stroke. Finally, I will present my process and experience in R&amp;D commercialization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\">About the author<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><strong>Prof. Wieslaw L. Nowinski, D.Sc., Ph.D.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 scientist, innovator, entrepreneur, manager, pioneer, and visionary; science-medicine-art \u201cbridge builder\u201d; creator of \u201cworld\u2019s most gorgeous\u201d human brain atlases. Affiliated with four of the world\u2019s top 10 universities (according to the Shanghai domain ranking), No 2 in MED (the USA) and No 2, 6, and 9 in ENG (Singapore and China). He has 589 scientific publications (h-index 50, i10-index 182 (Google Scholar), within world\u2019s top 2% scientists (Stanford list)); 71 patents granted (23 US, 11 EP) and 68 patent applications filed (19 US, 21 EP). Created with his team 35 brain atlas products licensed to 67 companies and institutions, distributed in about 100 countries. Conferred with 45 awards, 30 from leading medical societies (two radiological Oscars,&nbsp;<em>Pioneer in Medicine<\/em>) and 3 for innovation (2014&nbsp;<em>European Inventor of the Year&nbsp;<\/em>(within the top three)); named&nbsp;<em>The Outstanding Pole<\/em>&nbsp;in the world in 2012.
