Current trends in container and cloud technologies will be discussed, focusing on their usefulness for scientific workloads. The talk will also cover the presentation of the roadmap and development of the Sano Computing Cluster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\">About the author<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Dr Micha\u0142 Orzechowski has worked at the Academic Computer Center Cyfronet AGH University in Krakow since 2011. He currently serves as Senior Cloud and DevOps Specialist at the Laboratory of Cloud Technologies. He has extensive experience in designing, implementing, testing and operating computing and data storage systems for the cloud, as well as optimising distributed applications for efficient use of cloud storage resources. He participated in over 17 European-founded projects focused on cloud computing, data management, and container technologies.
