Moreover, I will demonstrate how cognitive science is applied in medicine, extending beyond its conventional applications.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right eplus-wrapper\"><em>Jakub Barbasz (Senior Postdoctoral Reseracher<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\" id=\"h-about-the-author\">About the author:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sano.science\/people\/jakub-barbasz\/\">Jakub Bogdan Barbasz<\/a> (born in 1977 in Krak\u00f3w) is a Polish interdisciplinary scientist and habilitated doctor of chemistry, specializing in chemistry, physics, and medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">In 2000, he graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at Cracow University of Technology. He obtained his PhD in chemical sciences in 2006 and completed his habilitation in 2013. He is affiliated with the Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krak\u00f3w, where he leads the research group Nano- and Microscale Systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">He is also a member of CogniLab at Jagiellonian University and a senior postdoctoral researcher at Sano \u2013 Centre for Computational Personalised Medicine. Additionally, he was the founder and, for many years, a shareholder of Digitmed S.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Jakub Barbasz&#8217;s research interests span interdisciplinary fields, ranging from <strong>chemistry<\/strong> to <strong>computational and experimental medicine<\/strong>.
