Sano at EUIndTech 2025

sharing how to make EU funding work

EUIndTech 2025 brought together leading scientists, innovators, and policymakers in Kraków to discuss how industrial technologies and research can drive Europe’s sustainable growth and competitiveness.
During the panel “Successes in Leveraging EU Funds and Horizon Europe Calls,” Katarzyna Baliga‑Nicholson from the Sano Centre for Computational Medicine spoke about how the centre turns EU funding into tangible results. Instead of pursuing perfect plans, Sano focuses on acting under real conditions — where research translates into solutions that make a difference in clinics, laboratories, and people’s lives.

As Katarzyna highlighted, flexibility and readiness to move forward despite uncertainty are key to successful innovation. This mindset enables Sano not only to make effective use of EU resources but also to help shape a landscape where science directly advances healthcare and technology.

Participation in EUIndTech 2025 also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences with European partners and to showcase Sano’s role in strengthening medical innovation both in Poland and across Europe.
