Med4.0 in Practice: Data, AI and New Opportunities for Healthcare

Med4.0 in Practice: Data, AI and New Opportunities for Healthcare

A free webinar on interoperability, HPC infrastructure, and the role of AI Factories in the development of modern healthcare services

How can distributed data, computing power and artificial intelligence be combined to create real innovation in medicine?

Healthcare is increasingly being discussed in the language of data. Properly collected, connected and analysed, data can help us better understand disease processes, support clinical decision-making and design more effective healthcare services. But data alone is not enough. Equally important is the environment in which it can be processed securely, as well as the tools that help unlock its value.

These issues will be the focus of the webinar “Medycyna 4.0: dane, interoperacyjność i Fabryki AI,” taking place online on 23 March 2026. The event will bring together experts from ACC Cyfronet AGH and the Ministry of Health, and will focus on the practical use of data and artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector.

From data to knowledge

Modern medicine generates vast amounts of data — from medical records and imaging results to genetic information. Its potential is enormous, yet in practice it often remains underused. One of the reasons  is fragmentation, as well as the lack of consistent standards that would enable efficient information exchange.

During the webinar, participants will explore how ecosystems can be built that connect medical data with advanced high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure and AI tools. This approach makes it possible not only to analyse data at scale, but also to develop new models that support diagnostics and therapeutic innovation.

Interoperability as a key challenge

One of the most frequently identified problems is the lack of interoperability — in other words, the ability of different systems to “talk” to one another. Data stored in separate systems, often in different formats, creates so-called information silos.

Experts will show how artificial intelligence methods can help integrate such data and how to prepare it for further use in research and implementation projects. A major part of this discussion will also address data security and legal regulations, which play a particularly important role in healthcare.

What are AI Factories?

One of the most interesting topics in the event will be the concept of AI Factories. This approach involves creating environments that make it possible to scale AI-based solutions — from data preparation and model training to deployment.

In a medical context, this means moving faster from an idea to practical application, for example in diagnostics, risk analysis or personalised treatment.

A shared direction: digitalising healthcare

The webinar will also provide an opportunity to gain a broader perspective on the development of digital healthcare in Poland. Representatives of the Ministry of Health will present current priorities and plans related to the further use of data and AI technologies in the healthcare system.

Who is it for?

The event is intended for individuals and organisations that want to play an active role in the digital transformation of healthcare — from startups and technology companies to the public sector and the research community.

The meeting will conclude with a Q&A session and an open discussion, encouraging experience-sharing and collaboration.
