Dr Zbigniew R. Struzik leads the Sano Science Research Team for Modelling and Simulation
As leader of the Research Team for Modelling and Simulations at Sano Science, Dr Zbigniew R. Struzik plays an integrating role in theoretical and applied science.
Zbigniew R. Struzik holds a Doctor degree from the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics and Astronomy of the University of Amsterdam. His engineering background stems from his Master of Science degree in Fundamental Problems of Technology from the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics of Warsaw University of Technology. Dr Struzik has lived and integrated in three countries with very different cultural backgrounds, which has helped him to understand and appreciate diversity and tolerance.
Having worked at a number of notable universities and scientific institutes in the Netherlands, Japan and recently Poland, he has developed a passion for bridging the divide between technology and science. He has a solid record of publications on a broad range of subjects, with a common denominator being data-driven modelling and uncovering fundamental properties of both natural and man-made complex systems.
Within Sano Science, he applies and further expands his expertise in investigating biophysical and physiological complexity of intertwined systems within the human body. This for the purpose of applying fundamental findings about the (life-defining) span of phenomena, from the molecular to the societal, for the benefit of mankind, in particular in the context of health care.
