Aleksander Byrski

AGH University of Krakow

He is a researcher and educator, currently serving as a Full Professor at AGH University of Science and Technology in the Faculty of Computer  Science, Electronics and Telecommunications within the Department of Computer Science. At AGH, he holds the position of Deputy Dean for  Research and Cooperation in the Faculty of Computer Science and is also  an active member of the Council of Information Technology and  Telecommunications. Outside of his academic responsibilities, he serves  as the Deputy President of the Try IT Foundation.

His research interests are diverse, focusing on nature-inspired  computing, agent-based distributed computation, artificial intelligence, and both parallel and distributed computing and simulations.
