116. Challenges of running scientific workloads in multi-cloud and hybrid computing environments

Michał Orzechowski – Sano Centre for Computational Medicine and ACC Cyfronet AGH, Krakow, PL

Abstract

During the talk, I describe the challenges of running scientific workloads in multi-cloud and hybrid computing environments – with a focus on achieving interoperability between cloud-native workloads and HPC workloads. Current trends in container and cloud technologies will be discussed, focusing on their usefulness for scientific workloads. The talk will also cover the presentation of the roadmap and development of the Sano Computing Cluster.
