Strong Sano representation at ICCS 2022
We’re delighted to announce that four papers have been accepted for publication at International Conference on Computational Science (ICCS) 2022, London:
- The paper entitled “POTHER: Patch-Voted Deep Learning-based Chest X-ray Bias Analysis for COVID-19 Detection” has been accepted for publication as full paper in Springer’s and oral presentation. This work is a MSc thesis of Tomasz Szczepański, co-supervised by Szymon Płotka (Sano Science) and Tomasz Trzciński (Warsaw University of Technology).
- “Deep Learning-based Chest X-ray Image Analysis Using Federated Learning” has been accepted for publication as short paper in Springer’s and oral presentation. This work is a MSc thesis of Filip Ślazyk and Przemysław Jabłecki at Sano Centre for Computational Medicine. Co-supervised by Szymon Płotka, Aneta Lisowska and Maciej Malawski (all from Sano Science).
- The next paper has been accepted for publication in ICCS 2022 as a 14-page full paper in Springer’s LNCS Series as well as an oral presentation. The paper is entitled: “Effect of feature discretization on classification performance of explainable scoring-based machine learning model” and this is a part of Arkadiusz Pajor’s MSc thesis (Sano Science), co-supervised by Arkadiusz Sitek (Sano Science) and professor Bartłomiej Śnieżyński PhD, AGH.
- The paper entitled: “Noninvasive Estimation of Mean Pulmonary Artery Pressure Using MRI, Computer Models, and Machine Learning” written with the collaboration with the University of Sheffield and Technical University of Cluj-Napoca has been accepted to ICCS 2022 as a 14-page full paper in Springer’s LNCS Series as well as an oral presentation! The research conducted by Michał Grzeszczyk and Tadeusz Satława (both from Sano Science) was supervised by Arkadiusz Sitek (Sano Science) and Prof. Tomasz Trzciński (WUT).
The papers by Michał Grzeszczyk and Arkadiusz Pajor as well as the paper “POTHER: Patch-Voted Deep Learning-based Chest X-ray Bias Analysis for COVID-19 Detection” received all good to excellent scores from reviewers and received some recommendations for best paper award and an additional publications in the special issue!
Congratulations to all Sano’s scientists and researchers!!!
