International recognition for Dr. Ahmed Abdeen Hamed 

Dr. Ahmed Abdeen Hamed, the leader of the Clinical Data Science team, was invited to act as an external examiner for a PhD thesis entitled “Enhanced Heterogeneous Distributed Systems for Healthcare ‎Applications” by a PhD candidate Noura Maghawry in the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Science of The British University in Egypt.

 Dr. Ahmed Abdeen Hamed was invited as one of the well-recognized scholars ‎in the area of clinical data. The project involved topics of medical ontologies; ontology integration; knowledge graph construction; entity linking; semantic data integration, etc.  

Congratulations to Noura Maghawry who successfully passed her defense, and to Dr. Ahmed Abdeen Hamed for the professional conduction of the defense, which took place on June 11.
