Justyna Andrys-Olek
PostDoc in Personal Health Data Science
Justyna is a PhD graduate in Chemical Sciences from the Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, where she defended her doctoral degree in September 2024, completing her dissertation on the enzymatic reaction catalysed by ectoine synthase.
During the course of her studies, she co-authored several publications and participated in international research project focused on proteins associated with the cancer development. Previously, she earned a BA in Molecular Biophysics from Adam Mickiewicz University and then graduated with honours with an MSc in Applied Biophysics and Bioinformatics from the Jagiellonian University.
Justyna is passionate about applying science to solve complex challenges, which is the focus of her role as a postdoctoral researcher. Outside of work, she enjoys growing plants, caring for her dog and watching tennis.
