Sano News
your monthly update is out now
The latest issue of Sano News — our monthly update from the Sano Centre for Computational Medicine — is now online, and it rounds up a busy summer at the Centre.
On the research side, this edition highlights new work using CARS microscopy and AI to look inside cells without dyes — a TOP 10% SCOPUS publication co-authored by Adam Sułek — alongside a new mSystems study comparing how different metagenomic sequencing platforms capture the human gut microbiome. We also celebrate Prof. Maciej Malawski receiving the first-degree AGH Rector’s Award for the Nature paper on all-charm tetraquarks.
Looking ahead, we preview two upcoming talks by our scientists this autumn: Adam Sułek in Warsaw (27 August), on turning AI infrastructure into new therapies, and Michał Orzechowski in Amsterdam (17 September), on building AI agents you can actually trust.
Rounding things off, there’s the newest Twin Things Podcast episode, “Can AI really think like a doctor?”, and a look back at our summer team day at Bagry Lake.
