The development of Virtual Reality(VR) technologies provides medical specialists unique opportunities. Possibility of remote work with a high feeling of presence, spacial awareness and way of presenting data and interacting with it unavailable in any other medium are strong points of that type of technology. The aim of this project is to capture those opportunities. Social and technological isolations are a problem that needs to be addressed in order to give clinicians a system that can be used seamlessly in the context of a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT). This project has taking on those issues set as some of its goals. Using haptics can help integrate known and familiar devices such as a keyboard more accessible into Virtual Reality fixing the technological isolation. Proper mechanisms of cooperation, tools in the VR Environment and immersive environment can help with social isolation. A system with those features can provide a useful tool for clinicians that can help with pre-operation planning.
