Sano at Małopolska Scientists’ Night 2025
How Biology Inspires Artificial Intelligence
Sano Centre for Computational Medicine was represented at the Małopolska Scientists’ Night 2025, one of the region’s most popular science outreach events.
Our researcher Jan Argasiński, leader of the Computational Neuroscience group and member of the Jagiellonian University’s Department of Human-Centered AI, delivered a lecture titled “Biological Inspirations in Artificial Intelligence – from Neurons to Brains; from Cells to Organisms” organised by JU’s Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science. The talk attracted around 100 participants, including high school students and adults, offering insights into how biology shapes the future of AI.
Through this involvement, Sano continues its mission to inspire new generations of scientists and bring computational medicine closer to the public.
