Successful Master’s Thesis Defences

This month, Szymon Mazurek, a junior scientific programmer at the Computer Vision Team of Sano successfully defended his Master’s thesis in Computer Science and Intelligent Systems. The topic of his thesis: “Epilepsy seizure detection and dynamical brain connectivity via machine learning”. The research was accomplished under the supervision of Dr Maciej Malawski (the main supervisor from AGH University) and Dr Alex Crimi (the supervisor from Sano).

Filip Katulski, a junior scientific programmer at the Clinical Data Science Team, in turn, defended his Master’s thesis “A Federated Search Workflow Engine for Text Analytics Using Large-Scale Biomedical Literature” under the supervision of Dr Maciej Malawski (the main supervisor from AGH University) and Dr Ahmed Abdeen Hamed (the supervisor from Sano).
