Lecture by Professor Anthony Elliott “May AI be with you: automated life in the digital age” – recording of the lecture
It was a distinct pleasure to co-organize an enlightening lecture by Professor Anthony Elliott, Dean of External Engagement at the University of South Australia, Executive Director of the Hawke EU Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence and Network, and Research Professor of Sociology. The lecture, titled “May AI be with you: Automated life in the digital age,” was held in cooperation with the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Computer Science at AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. This event provided deep insights into the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on our professional, educational, and personal spheres.
Professor Elliott offered a critical analysis of how AI technologies are reshaping our daily lives and what these changes signify for our future. The lecture illuminated the complex dynamics of our increasingly digital existence, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges posed by technological advances.
