Sano at Nordic Life Science Days 2025
Collaboration and Innovation at the Heart of European Life Sciences
Representatives from the Sano Centre for Computational Medicine took part in the international Nordic Life Science Days (NLSDays) held on October 13–14, 2025, in Gothenburg – Scandinavia’s largest event dedicated to the life sciences sector. Organized annually since 2013, the conference serves as a key platform for knowledge exchange, experience sharing, and networking among leaders in science, business, and public sectors.
Scandinavia’s Premier Life Sciences Event
This year’s edition of Nordic Life Science Days brought together hundreds of companies and institutions from around the world, including leaders from the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical sectors, as well as investors, research centers, and regulatory organizations. Participants had the opportunity to showcase cutting-edge products, technologies, and services that are transforming modern medicine and public health.
Dominik Czaplicki and Katarzyna Baliga-Nicholson represented Sano at the event, presenting the center’s key projects and solutions. Participation in the trade fair provided Sano with an excellent opportunity to showcase proprietary technologies, establish contacts with international partners, and explore trends in computational medicine and digital health innovations.
Networking sessions enabled experience sharing with representatives of global companies and research institutions, while also benefiting from valuable substantive support provided by experts from the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) Foreign Trade Office in Stockholm.
Exploring Gothenburg’s Life Sciences Ecosystem
Following the main trade fair program, on October 15, a delegation day took place, allowing participants to explore the local life sciences ecosystem in Gothenburg. The program included study visits and meetings with representatives of scientific institutions, technology incubators, and local companies that play a significant role in Sweden’s innovation landscape.
Sano’s participation in Nordic Life Science Days underscores the center’s growing importance in the European research community – both in terms of international collaboration and the implementation of technologies supporting the development of modern, digital medicine.
