Sano Joins the “Kraków – A Community of Culture” Debate Once Again
Culture in a Time of Change: Who Shapes Its Direction?
Representatives of Sano will once again take part in an important event dedicated to the future of culture and the creative sector. On April 29, 2026, the next edition of the “Kraków – A Community of Culture” debate will be held at the Bunkier Sztuki Gallery in Kraków, organized by Tygodnik Powszechny and the City of Kraków.
Who Really Governs Culture?
This year’s edition is held under the thought-provoking title: “Who really governs culture – the artist, the algorithm, or the budget?” The event focuses on one of the most significant transformations of our time—the intersection of culture, business, and rapidly evolving technology. The conversation will span a broad spectrum of issues, looking at how culture is funded today, how algorithms are reshaping media and public debate, and how artists, technologists, and businesses are increasingly working together in new and evolving ways.
Sano in the AI Discussion
The program will include the panel “Culture After the Algorithm: An Analysis of AI’s Impact on the Creative Economy – from Copyright to the Automation of Creative Work.” Among the panelists will be Katarzyna Baliga-Nicholson from Sano, who will bring a perspective grounded in new technologies and their influence on culture.
This panel forms part of a broader reflection on the role of artificial intelligence—both as a tool supporting creators and as a force reshaping the rules of the entire creative industry.

The event provides a platform for exchange between artists, entrepreneurs, technology experts, and public institutions. Its goal is not only to diagnose current challenges but also to identify concrete paths forward that connect creativity, capital, and technology in a balanced way.
