Marian Bubak appointed to the Krakow Entrepreneurship Council

Strengthening collaboration between science, business, and the city

We are proud to announce that Marian Bubak, Scientific Affairs Director at Sano, has been appointed as a member of the Krakow Entrepreneurship Council.

Recognition of expertise at the science–business interface

This prestigious appointment recognizes Marian Bubak’s experience and his active role at the intersection of science and business. We warmly congratulate him on this achievement and are pleased that a representative of our foundation will help shape the future of entrepreneurship in Krakow, contributing insights grounded in both research and practice.
The Krakow Entrepreneurship Council, to which he has been appointed, was established by the Mayor of Krakow, Aleksander Miszalski, as an advisory body aimed at strengthening the dialogue between the local government and the business community. Its official inauguration took place on April 17, when members received their letters of appointment. The initiative reflects a modern approach to city governance—one built on collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the integration of diverse perspectives.

A data-informed approach to economic development

Within this framework, the Council’s key responsibilities include initiating actions that support entrepreneurship and recommending solutions to enhance the city’s investment attractiveness. In practice, this involves analyzing economic trends, identifying development barriers, and proposing evidence-based solutions informed by cross-sector expertise.
To ensure a comprehensive perspective, the Council brings together representatives from business, academia, industry organizations, and municipal institutions. As part of its work, task forces will be established to conduct in-depth analyses and develop detailed recommendations tailored to specific challenges.

Driving an innovation-based economy

We are confident that Marian Bubak’s involvement in the Council will contribute to strengthening collaboration between science, business, and public administration, and will have a meaningful impact on the development of an innovative, knowledge-based economy in Krakow.
