Representation of Sano at CompBioMed 2023

We are proud to say that the poster of Karol Zając, Marek Kasztelnik, Jan Meizner, Piotr Nowakowski, Taras Zhyulin, Maciej Malawski and Łukasz Wroński titled “Computational Medicine Toolkit for HPC Applications” won the 2nd best poster award at the conference. Congratulations to the authors!

The topics presented by Sano varied from modelling to novel methods of extracting and analysing biomedical information, from new methods of health datasets analysis to instruments designed for work with HPC Applications.  The full list of topics you can find here https://sano.science/eight-abstracts-from-sano-accepted-to-compbiomed-conference-2023-cbmc23/.

The ideas introduced by Sano scientists drew a lot of interest among participants, one of the hits of the conference was a study provided by Jakub Klimczak, Maciej Malawski, Byung Suk Lee and Ahmed Abdeen Hamed. The study titled “Enhancing Prostate Cancer Clinical Decision Support with ChatGPT-Enabled Real-World Evidence” reveals the potential of harnessing ChatGPT as a valuable source of Real-World Evidence (RWE). It showcases how AI-generated content can effectively complement the knowledge extracted from biomedical literature.

Important information for those who are interested in computational medicine, Marian Bubak, the scientific affairs director of Sano, presented at the conference the latest achievements of Sano research teams, which is impressive material for understanding not only the development of Sano projects but also the development of computational medicine in general. The presentation of Marian Bubak is available here: https://sano.science/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/MB-Comp-BioMed-Sano-overview-12-Sept-2023.pdf

Sano would like to thank colleagues at the Centre of Excellence in Computational Biomedicine in Munich for a perfectly organized event!
